Critiques

It is so strange to be in a place in life where your whole existence and success relies on the opinions of other people. Being frustrated with a situation when you stand in front of an audience is incredibly difficult. As a person with a temper, I find it incredibly difficult to keep my composure in critique when all I want to say is "SHUT UP". It's even more difficult when you have the most critical critique of a day. I think most of it is that the critiquers have seen this particular work before in an unfinished state, therefore they are unable to disassociate from the mentality of "she can change it because it's not done yet". I do understand that critiques are great because others see things that aren't typically seen by the creator. It still hurts when there isn't much positivity.
